GENERAL MATHEMATICS
REMEDIAL HIGH SCHOOL COURSE

Please note: This course is presented for students of any age who need mathematics lessons/review before progressing to an algebra 1 course. It focuses on general mathematics and pre-algebra topics. There is no corresponding college-level exam; this course aligns with an 8th grade-level mathematics program. Students with a good background in basic mathematics may skip this course and move directly to algebra 1.

Basic Math (8th Grade Math)
Prentice Hall Mathematics Books companion site - click on the link to the book you need (Pre-algebra). From there you can access dozens of "Homework Video Tutors," quizzes, tests, and even an end-of-course exam.
Pre-Algebra Workbook
PASS Building General Mathematics Skills, Mathematics 2, and/or Introduction to Algebra. (All three files contain teacher and study editions combined.)

Download the PASS Textbooks and design a study schedule. Complete the lessons from the Basic Math (8th Grade) website. (You may want to print any practice lesson results for a record of your work.) Visit the Prentice Hall website for video lessons and practice quizzes. Work through the Pre-algebra Workbook. The additional resources are provided for extra practice and help. Finish the course by taking some practice quizzes and then one or both of the End-of-Course exams.
