INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY
CLEP/DSST PREP

There are two different psychology exams you may study for. (Please note: It is not advisable that you take both exams unless you have spoken with an academic advisor at your school of choice and confirmed that you will be awarded credit for both.)

Introductory Psychology CLEP test information - Exam Description and Sample Questions.
Lifespan Developmental Psychology - DSST exam description and outline, with practice questions.

Students may be interested in Saylor's Introduction to Psychology, a free equivalent to a college-level course.

Practice and Final Exam - file includes a college-level exam with answers already marked that can be used for studying purposes and a 100-question AP Psychology exam with key that can be used as a final exam for the course.



Recommended Course of Study:

Print an exam outline for either the CLEP or DSST exam. Build your study journal around the test outline. Complete the online courses. Watch the videos at the Discovering Psychology website. Complete the lessons at HippoCampus. Read the Psychology 101 textbook, and visit the ThinkSpot website. Additional resources are provided for further study. Finish the course with test/quiz practice and the final exam.
